Funism Exhibition.

WHO: All artists

WHAT: We're accepting submissions from artists. I would like to put together an exhibition that is based entirely around the theme of Funism. My aim is to make people giggle, regardless of the artists technical capabilities or professional accomplishments.I would like the artists to create work, which evokes humour and sarcasm.

It's tenets are simple: 1) art should be as much fun to look at as it is to think about 2) art should be intellectually engaging without being intellectually elitist.
Conatct me if you wish to show your work!

WHEN: from 16 March to 9 April 2010.
The wall space. The Wallspace occupies the major wall of the main concourse and is open to view from all visitors to the Centre. It is 14 metres long and around 3 metres high, with a white surface. The Centre is open from 10am to 11pm allowing an exhibition to be seen by the public between these times. Because of the concourse’s open aspect, all artwork needs to have mirror plates attached for securing to the wall. However the Wallspace is invigilated by two security guards continuously during the hours of opening, so artworks are quite secure.
