Daily Mail - STUCKIST CLOWNS DOING THEIR DIRTY WORK

A painting of Charles Saatchi with a halo made with a Dairylea chees wrapper is causing a row with the normally genteel Mayfair art world.
Charles Thomson, co-founder of the Stuckist movement, who are exhibiting it at the Artspace gallery in Maddox street, claims that the gallery removed the work by artist Paul Harvey from the window display for being 'too controversial'.
What's more the Stuckists, who campaign for figurative painting and hate conceptual artists such as Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst, assert that the exhibition has also been cut short by a week and are considering taking legal action.
However manager Vivian Choi insists they are refurbishing the gallery. What of Saatchi's removal? 'it was a creative decision.' Whatever that may mean.
