Anna Page. Artist-Funism Exhibtion.

Above: Anna feels word play is both fun and fundamental, and her art reflects this interest. For example, Eye/I is a self-portrait within the pupil of an eye:

Anna studied Art at Yeovil College and Philosophy and Literature at Warwick University. She created a one-woman exhibition in 2001 on St Martins Lane entitled “How The Universe Works (The Answer To Everything)”, for which she was dubbed The Shining Child Of the Revelation Revolution in The West End Extra.

For the exhibition at Willesden Green Gallery, she is creating art specifically intended to entertain and inspire self-belief, like the mirror entitled “The Answer To Everything” and a piece comprising the letters E=MC2, which backwards profoundly spells 2CM=E (to see me!). The world literally is your mind, have fun with it!
Anna has been described as a ‘glamorous art terrorist’, and the West End Extra wrote: “Much like the universe itself, her freewheeling exhibition How The Universe Works – The Answer To Everything, is being created, and is evolving, as the exhibition progresses… with paintings, poems, photographs, philosophical scrawls and pointers to enlightenment”.
Anna is also a singer, songwriter and guitarist, and her only single release to date ‘Ecstasy’, with her all girl band Deluxor, was a Record Collector single of the Month. She is currently writing a book and planning a TV programme on the How The Universe Works
